Pimp recovers from the blow to his face and grasps the other part of his cane that had been the sword’s sheath. “I’m not trying to deceive you Void! I’m only trying to show you the truth.” He settles into a defensive stance, waiting.

The Void squeezes his eyes shut and lurches his body forward to curl in on himself, the delivery of his response having great force. “I already know the truth..!!” His eyes dance about the features of Pimp’s face with his hand flicking the blood against the wall, his brain desperately trying to register the pain but having no connection to him. “Don’t try to force-feed me your beliefs when they hold no truth themselves..I know of your game..I know of all of your games..all set up just to see my prolonged defeat..—” He feverishly loosens a knife from his coat. “You…you all planned this from the very beginning of my existence didn’t you..?! Ah, well I know. I bet you weren’t expecting this progression but oh how I know..” He whips the knife just past Pimp’s ear deliberately, the blade slamming against the wall behind. “Fight me..! Is that not what you want? Fight me and end this recurring nightmare..!!”
